WHO COLONIZED ALGERIA AND WHY?

Algeria was colonized by many groups of people. First were the Romans, then the Arabs, then the Spanish who had control of some Algerian cities and towns on the coast, then the Ottoman Turks and then the French. As a result of all this Algerians tend to have a lot of Arab, Spanish, Turkish and French blood in them as well as Black blood from the Arab slave trade which operated in Algeria and other North African countries. Oh! And if your wondering the Algerian cities/towns the Spanish had control of were Mers El Kebir, Oran, Bejaia, Tenes, Mostaganem, Cherchell, Dellys and Algiers.
