What is a level 2 qualification in Adult Numeracy? Is it for a wide range of ability or for 'thick' people?

I'm not sure why you were chosen to take the test but if you really are good at maths, it should have been easy enough. Not everyone who is bad at maths is thick! Some people's brains are wired differently and the logic needed for maths does not come easy! I'm one of those. I managed the numeracy things with a lot of work but the trigonometry, algebra, sines, and cosines etc are gobbledygoop to me but I am very good at the humanities and language side of things. I am intellegent and have had good, responsible jobs - I just don't deal well with numbers. Could be there were a number of kids like that sitting that exam.
