week for internal, bleeding and had to have 2 blood transfusions. I have been taking Protonix and Karafate for 3 months and nothing is working. I now have to have surgery. do you know anything about this type of surgery? How long are you in the hospital very long? What type of diet are you on afterwards? I do know they will make 6 small incisions on my stomach and it will not affect my weight surgery. It will be a revision surgery. This also had nothing to do with my weight surgery. I always have a bad tummy ache and even drinking water causes pain. Ive had 2 Endoscopy's and Im not healing so surgery is a must.
