How Do I control what I speak?

Man, This was very bad I'm very good at dealing controlling myself I'm strong minded, quiet, & can control my self . But you know I've came onto across with a lot of negative people so I didn't have the time to be alone;"Which I often am" so like I was eatting dinner and a family member yelled at me about how stupid & dumb I was. I told them the truth n I cried went to the bathroom like a little betch. I find my self very upset about my leakage please tell me how to better control what I speak.
